Day 4 more or less (06/20/2011)

While make the counterfoil we were sure we just drove away from a huge storm. But every next mile it was making certain that we see what was left from it. First we saw the higher level of the Turtle river, and then, every next mile it was a disaster - flouded houses and byways. It had to be hours, maximum a day before we come there - the people were getting from there houses by armies motorboats and the water was still on some places of the road. We were concerned.
When the sunset was hours away we started looking for a hotel. And we couldn't find one. All we did find was hundreds of lorries going from the point of gas drilling to the city - Watford City. The roads in the the town were ruined by the lorries. The shops were empty because the drivers had to eat. The three hotels where full because the drivers had to sleep somewhere. And the gas was three times more expensive in the distance of 50 miles. The owners of the gas stations did know dad the lorries have to tunk anyway so they made the price higher for the time of the works.
Finally we found a place 60 miles from Watford City, in Sidney (South Dakota).
